JACK WHITE UK and IRELAND

From all accounts, Jack brought coals to Newcastle… Dublin, London & beyond to burn up every stage.  Two artifacts for the event were a tour poster and a foil variant defaced by the Charlatan.

These were expertly/perfectly printed by White Duck in the UK.

I did something a little different for my copies with standard on blue foil.  I love blue foil. It’s dark, but when it catches the light you feel like Rose staring at a sapphire tumbling into the North Atlantic.

For the Charlatan variant, I have a few on mirror foil and a few on rainbow foil.  These are all printed by DL in Seattle, so all versions sold on tour are kept quite unique.

JACK WHITE ||| SAN FRANCISCO

Teamed up with Chris Everhart from Silent Giants to revisit the crew featured on a triptych of posters we made in 2025. I pictured them in an Elvis movie and this as the Gold Key equivalent of an adapted comic.

If it looks low key compared to the previous outing, then welcome to Elvis movies.

Two versions, a reg and a rainbow foil variant.

FOO FIGHTERS ||| LAS VEGAS

When Jack White is on tour, my telephone time with Chris increases exponentially. We’ve done Vegas stuff a couple of times in the past with novel results, so we tried for a hat trick here.

I always have a great time in Vegas, so we tried to make the poster feel fun while having the same with Sin City visual conceits.

Big thanks to Collectionzz for the gig.

Three versions: a GID reg, a blue foil and gold foil variants.

Been getting some questions from Foos fans so some quick As to potential Qs.

1. These are screen printed as part of the same edition available at the shows, e.g. same official posters.

2. These are signed by one of the artists: me, the bald one.  If you want a signature from Chris, the bearded one, then hit him up.  He’s very friendly.

CODA NEWS ||| THE MUPPET MOVIE WITH MINT SAUCE

Watched the Muppet Movie for the first time since I was a kid. Apparently, I only remembered 3 beats as it was like watching a new film.  I knew I’d get emotionally maced when Kermit opens the thing singing Paul Williams' immortal “Rainbow Connection”, but the testament to Williams’ songwriting comes later in the film during Gonzo’s number.  It was a surprising heartbreaker of alienation that put a lot of Sprite in my eyes, but the whole time I was baffled at the effectiveness of the song despite coming through Gonzo’s albatross throat. Anyway, worth your Sunday if you need some sunshine on your shoulder.

Worked with the folks at Cyclops Print Works to realize an old project JC Richard started with Ken Taylor some moons ago. Hats off to JC as it’s the perfect pairing of artist and film.

Ken’s visual capture of Williams’ hopeful lyrics is presently available at CODA.
